Semi drop Out - Season 2005

Things looked ominous for 3G's when Ross-shire Club stormed into a two-goal lead after just 15 minutes. Douglas McFarquhar opened the scoring in the second minute when he raced onto a through ball from Craig Sutherland to score. The home side kept up the pressure and David McGowan made it 2-0 with a fine finish, and chances to score a third were passed up before 3G's hit back. Andrew Maitland pulled one back in the 30th minute when he headed home from a corner kick, and Craig Vass equalised a couple of minutes from the break. Jamie MacDonald scored the only goal of the second half on the hour mark to complete the comeback and see 3G's through to the final.

Season 2005 Old News

After a slow start to the game the Ross-Shire took control in what turned out to be a pretty one sided game. Paul Fredericks gained a hatrick(the first ever hatrick for any member of the Ross-Shire club) with some good strikes and Craig Sutherland and Kevin Hastie were the other 2 on target. Congratulations to Freddy and I hope you all keep voting as the new results for the polls will be due out soon! I would also like to mention that the guestbook is going to be turned into a forum to encourage more people to use it and slag Chrissy off about his deflections and lack of drinking ability! Come on the boys for the semi and also for the fancy dress on Friday night. There will be a special poll next week to see who wins best dressed player so do it good!
